“HAKEL” PLANT WILL BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE TERRITORY OF THE GREENSTATE INDUSTRIAL PARK
The official foundation stone laying ceremony of Hakel JSC future production facility was held in the Greenstate industrial park. Surge and lighting protection devices, grounding devices and other instruments will be produced in the plant.
Construction of the plant for “Hakel” electrical equipment production was launched in Lomonosov district.
“Leading Russian companies buy “Hakel” products. This fact proves high quality and compatibility of these products in the market” – said Andrey Sergeev, the Director of the Agency for Economic Development of Leningrad Region, at the ceremony and wished the investor success in implementation of the project.
Andrey Kadoukov, the General Director of “Hakel” JSC told that currently the company is producing about 5 thousand items of different electrical devices. About 80% of sales are in the domestic market, with the rest products sold in CIS countries.
The company will invest RUR 350 mln in construction of the new plant. The area of the facility is 11 000 sq. m. About 200 jobs will be created in the plant to be constructed. The project is estimated to ne implemented already in 2020.
“Hakel” company was established in 2002 in St. Petersburg as an official representative of Czech electrical equipment producer Hakel. In 2007 the company has set up the engineering center with production facility for own products design and development. By today practical all the line of Czech products is produced in St. Petersburg under “Grozostop” brand, with production of in-house developed products. Starting from 2013 the company is 100% owned by Russian bodies.
The Greenstate industrial park is the private industrial park owned by YIT Construction Corporation (Finland). By today more than half of the territory of the industrial park is occupied by industrial facilities of 18 residents. These are large foreign enterprises and Russian small-size and medium-size enterprises. 59 hectares of land were transferred to the ownership of residents, with the area of free land plots – 32 hectares.
